Each year the GEMS Film Scoring Summer Program organise for our students to visit and stay with Christopher Young in Los Angeles. WOW! Many participants from the GEMS Film Scoring Summer Program have benefited from this amazing opportunity placing them in the heart of Hollywood with an amazing Hollywood host. GEMS goes to Hollywood - meet Francesco:
Francesco Bortolussi (on the left) is an Italian film composer based in the Netherlands, who joined us for both the 2018 and the 2019 GEMS Film Scoring Summer Program. Francesco arrives in LA for his stay with Christopher Young as fellow GEMS 2018/2019 participant Sebastian Ruiz (on the right) who also joined the GEMS Film Scoring Summer Program twice in 2018 and 2019 and who now works at the Christopher Young studio. As part of joining the GEMS program, Francesco and Sebastian went to stay with Christopher Young in Los Angeles in 2019/2020.
