Today was a quieter day, at least for me. We got the scores ready to send them to the printing house. With the help of my tutor, Francesco, we have worked out some final questions about the orchestration and editing. Everything has to be very tightly controlled, nothing can be left to random chance. This, I'm not going to lie, is something that certainly may have stressed me a bit. But as a training value, this is priceless, because it brings you face to face with the orchestra, and here there will be no dutiful virtual musicians who can wait for you to re-edit the scores, or change them at the last minute.
Having worked so hard, however, I have a clear conscience, with the tutor's approval and Nigel having printed the scores already. I can only say: Alea Iacta Est.
