Hello. I am Ramin Ali Velibekov, a film composer and music producer. Born in Khudat, Azerbaijan, I am Azerbaijani of Lezgi origin and currently live and work in the capital city of Baku.

My father introduced me to music when I was 4 when he showed me how to play guitar. When I was 9 I fell in love with film music after watching Back to the Future. As a child, I was engaged in classical and jazz music and studied our folk music Mugham, in addition to studying piano at my secondary music school. 

Since 2007 I have been working as a record producer for popular artists in Azerbaijan and to this date I have produced over 100 singles and accompanied artists during their live shows. In 2010 the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan presented me with the 'Producer of the Year' award.

Despite being known as a pop producer, I've been gradually shifting my focus to film music for the past 6-7 years. Over the years, I have delved deep into the study and analysis of various musical genres, spanning from classical to contemporary. My musical repertoire encompasses world music, pop, rock, and electronic genres. I consistently immerse myself in the creative works of different composers, striving to capture unique sonic nuances. Despite hailing from the small state of Azerbaijan, our culture is enriched with a diversity of art, lending a distinctive hue to my music. I have worked on two feature movies as main and additional composer and in 2023 I have been commissioned to write a score for Project 2602, a fantasy adventure movie in Azerbaijan.
